1. Services Overview

Skrooge provides AI-powered accounting solutions combined with human expertise. Our services include but are not limited to bookkeeping, tax filing, financial reporting, and business setup assistance.

Some services are delivered fully online, while others may involve interactions with third-party providers or government agencies.

2. Eligibility and Client Obligations

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to represent the business entity you’re acting on behalf of. You are responsible for:

• Ensuring all information provided to Skrooge is accurate and complete
• Complying with all relevant local and international laws
• Paying for services on time
• Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials

3. Payment Terms

All fees must be paid in the currency and method indicated at checkout or in your service agreement. We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate services for non-payment
• Revise our pricing with prior notice
• Charge interest on overdue payments (where legally permitted)
• Update pricing with 10 days’ notice via email or dashboard

Refunds are not guaranteed and are granted at Skrooge’s sole discretion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Skrooge platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use automated systems to scrape or disrupt the site
• Misrepresent your identity or company
• Infringe on any intellectual property rights
• Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems

5. Intellectual Property

All website content, software, and branding elements are the property of Skrooge or its licensors. You may not:

• Reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of our site or software
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on our services

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party tools or refer you to external services. Skrooge is not responsible for:

• Accuracy or reliability of third-party services
• Any loss or damage arising from third-party interactions

You agree to comply with any separate terms required by those services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Skrooge provides services “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted access or absolute accuracy of results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Errors arising from inaccurate user data
• Loss of business, revenue, or profits

Our total liability to You for loss under these T&Cs shall be limited to USD$100 in aggregate for any and all claims under these T&Cs arising for whatever reason whatsoever.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skrooge, its directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from:

• Your use or misuse of our services
• Violation of these Terms
• Any third-party claim arising from your actions

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the platform or services at any time, especially in cases of:

• Breach of these Terms
• Non-payment
• Abuse, fraud, or illegal activity

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai (or applicable free zone jurisdiction, if relevant).

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance.
